I am boycotting Sheng Siong Supermarket island-wide because one of the outlets in the East was spotted selling baby nurse sharks at S$13++ per kilo.
The supermarket spokesman even said that the decision to sell sharks was backed by demand.
SO??
While it is not illegal to sell live wildlife animals in SG, but hey, don't they read news reports or papers about what's happening to the sharks' population? I can't believe that they can be so ignorant and mindless when they said," Driven by demand."
So next time when there is demand for baby fetuses they should sell them? Crazy, stupid, birdbrained.
We should all stand together to curb such irresponsible behaviors(selling endangered animals/products/wildlife) and ethics from sellers and distributors alike.
"So what if they sell larger eggs than NTUC???"
